Sometimes we announce it, sometimes it is a surprise.
Each night has its own custom elements, built for the film, the venue and the crowd: movie bingo, live commentary, drinking games, weird clips, popup performances and a showreel of rarities.
It has happened in a marionette theatre, a Tokyo bar, a back garden in Australia at dusk, a dive-in movie at a pool, and a speakeasy basement under a landmark cafeteria.
The LA nights run in The Sanctuary, the speakeasy basement under Clifton's DTLA.
One-offs happen anywhere, like Club Fais Do Do in West Adams.
Over 240,000 people follow along on Instagram.
Last time the room chose LOVE ON A LEASH, a 2011 romance between a woman and a golden retriever who is, some of the time, a man in a tuxedo.
